True Grit Presents Hardcore Barn Burner
Yes, you have read that correctly, barn burner- and yes, this was definitely True Grit’s idea. A little backstory: between ‘23 and ‘24, True Grit has performed at a couple of fests called Sad by Southwest. These festivals contained a majority of country/ alt- country artist with True Grit being the exceptional hardcore. TG received a lot of praise and attention, including from a handful of unsatisfied country fans. Nonetheless, it opened up the door to the idea of bringing country fans and hardcore kids together under one roof. A couple years go by and the idea turned into a reality.
Sunday August 9th at Haltom Theater, True Grit presents Hardcore Barn Burner featuring a southern blend of country, rock and roll, and hardcore all together on one lineup. This is going to be a night of fun and a night to remember! For 10 bucks, you’ll be able to enjoy some live entertainment, music, shenanigans, dancing, maybe a fight, who knows! Make sure to have on your cowboy boots, bring your partner and let’s dance the night away!
