Abigail Rose’s MILLION DOLLAR QUESTIONS ep

Nashville, Tennessee is home to many great musicians, and that’s a fact. It’s true enough for you to google it and find artists like Young Buck, Tim McGraw, Kesha, Billy Ray Cyrus and the late Kenny Rogers. That only names a few but even the few mentioned is enough to grasp my point: GREAT music comes from Nashville. Each of these musicians puts on a great performance as well. It’s a shame that in the current state of affairs, we will not be able to attend shows for a while. I can only imagine watching Abigail Rose on stage using her soft, angelic voice to fill the room and please the audience. For now, we have Youtube.

Many of us intended on starting 2020 off right but the 23 year old Nashville/ Los Angeles singer/songwriter/ multi- instrumentalist Abigail Rose did just that by releasing her debut ep, MILLION DOLLAR QUESTIONS. 6 songs deep and 19 mins long, this ep is jam packed with different elements of pop: synth, dream pop, a piano ballad and a subtle acoustic track to end the ep in a smooth fashion. Along with the catchiness and infectious melodies, the lyricism summarizes the casualties of modern love and the vulnerabilities behind introspection. Her songwriting is relative to young souls growing through their years of maturity, the perfect recipe for reeling in and connecting with new fans. Each song seems to be a past learning experience brought to the present, courtesy of her soothing voice.
