Videography T. Aubrey releases three new videos

In the midst of everything going on, many DFW creatives, whether they are essentials or non essentials, are using the quarantine regulations to their greatest advantage. Many are using their time to finish up projects, revisiting old projects to freshen up their skills and/or acquiring new techniques. The lack of social interactions gives room for the workaholic and introverted artist to invest quality time into their art and defeat the perpetual sense of boredom.

Videographer and Creative Director T. Aubrey is one of the many that’s taking the opportunity to accommodate his clients and fans alike as he continues to showcase his talent behind the lens. No matter what is happening in the world today, his relentless work ethic proves that he’s built to last. Every new release seems to be better than the last and his sense of visual creativity hold no boundaries. Despite the pandemic, T. Aubrey has been on his P’s and Q’s and in this articles, I’m here to discuss my three current favorite visuals in the past month.

Elijah Heaps - Shake

Starring DFW artist Elijah Heaps and co starring Erika Brown, the visual begins and ends with impressive low angles that help create smooth cinematic shots that reels the viewers in. Erika Brown serves as the modern goth girl eye candy as she and Elijah Heaps work well together in creating a sensual vibe throughout the video. What is also seductive about the visual is the use of different color soft lights in each scene that adds on the the viewing pleasure. Also check out Elijah’s visual for his song Dinner.

$MG Cinco - Keep Up

“FUCK A PISS TEST, I GOT BIG RACKS”, recording artist $MG Cinco is leaving the opposition in the dust with this new visual. T. Aubrey has a keen eye in bringing out the best in subjects with his attention in detail and constant camera movement. Fresh Nikes, large amounts of marijuana, backwoods packed with that DANK, grown man racks, etc flooding the visual, giving you the representation of the artist’s persona. The post production animation adds more flare to the visual, from the background as Cinco kneels down in front of lens to the occasional pencil scratch/cartoon animation effect.

Spaceman Zack - Pure

This visual takes place on the gloomy streets on Helsinki, Finland. The cinematic, documentary style shots and with the corresponding B-Roll shots that take up the entirety of this short video captures a story like scenario of singer/songwriter Spaceman Zack. The visual lack performing shots but that is what is attractive about it. Pure cuts straight to the meat and potatoes, it’s powerful and it leaves viewers wanting more, the perfect formula for racking up views.
