Kombat/ Torture Tomb ep split, merch + more

Denton’s greasiest, grimiest death metal band Kombat is back from the dead and dusted off the cobwebs to crank out a wicked 4 song split with fellow Texas death metal band Torture Tomb, Greased and Released, available on Transylvanian Tapes. Alongside the release is the preorder for the cassette available here.

The death metal quintet ended their short term hiatus and didn’t skip a beat. Their greasy blend of death metal with obnoxious characteristics of doom, seasoned with a dash of grindcore and vicious breakdowns is what favors Kombat. Presenting two new tracks on the split offers excitement for what’s to come. Torture Tomb is new on my radar and I’m pleasantly satisfied about what I hear from them; traditional Texas riffage with the dual screeching vocals for additional character, precise double bass, mashed with a dash of punk.
