Brionne’s latest track Jodeci

When I look at Brionne and her accomplishments, I don’t see a young, black. female artist that simply makes words rhyme together over a beat, I see a rising star with impeccable talent. I see the future queen of DFW hip hop; if she isn’t now she is definitely the next one up. The articulation, wordplay and the distinguishable flow is effortless as if it is embedded in her DNA, in my most humble opinion. Throughout the time period that I have become aware of her, she is relentless in giving her fans great quality music. It’s as if she never skips a beat, only getting better with time. Classy and with a bit of sophistication, I am a fan of the way she moves. She doesn’t seek attention to gain clout: she lets her artistry and her visuals speak for itself.

Anytime Brionne releases music, single or an ep, there is no denying the fact that she is bringing the heat., hot enough to melt the polar ice caps if necessary. The opening bar of the song isn’t for the weak or the light-hearted as it sets the tone for the remaining two and half minutes of the tracks. Her signature flow and cadence is as fierce as the last standing warrior on the land with no room for comparison. Bar for bar, Brionne is a true contender in the current world of hip-hop and for those who appreciate the culture. Rest assured, as long as she continues her music career, she will become, if she isn’t already, a staple in the DFW hip-hop scene that will inspire many local and non-local female artists with talent and prestige.
