Event curator and Twitter meme specialist Marlon Jones has something brewing for DFW. It was inevitable, considering the fact that he puts together awesome music events and now considers himself a DJ. I’ve had knowledge of his master plan for a while but I lacked the details. He kept it a secret for a period of time until now..
Introducing DFW’s newest collective The Crown, a band of multi talented artists that possess the drive and hunger to take over the metroplex one event at a time. The collective includes the energetic and quirky New York born artist/producer Christian, the eccentric, baritone Lucid artist Donovan Bogney and more. On Christmas Day, the group released a banger titled “Zzz” with an accompanying video shot by the great Iliana Aragon. Christian starts the track in his usual assertive yet humorous fashion followed by Donovan, Kawasaki and Blxckmale. Who knows what’s coming up next from this unique bunch of individuals. Just know you will be hearing from them often as we head into the new year.
