The Black Ice Album Listening Experience

This Saturday, June 26th is the Black Ice event: The album listening experience curated by multi- faceted artists Coach Tev, Blake Cris and producer J08s. The event invites a bit of sophistication behind the ALL BLACK AFFAIR dress code; semi-formal/ classy attire. To add extra flair, the event is located in the upscale Oak Lawn area, almost as if it holds a dash of elite exclusivity. Delectable finger food and drinks will available and the best behaviors are promoted. An extra brief unofficial run-through of Black Ice
Black Ice is the official full-length album of Coach Tev, Blake Cris, and J08s. This is also the first project that Coach Tev and Blake Cris have worked extensively on together; as a result, the articulation of the organic body of work expresses each artist’s impeccable, musical talent. 12 songs deep, Black Ice has been in the making for quite some time. The pandemic and multiple projects in between the production of the album slowed the process but nonetheless, it finally reached completion. Black Ice is the embellishment of the individualistic styles from each artist and how well these styles are intertwined to create a polished, cohesive project for their fans to wrap their ears around.

The Black Ice Album Listening Experience
The previous statement “there’s more to this special event than a casual Saturday evening plan” stands correct; the anticipation that precedes this event caters to a certain degree of zealousness and sincerity that is common amongst earnest creators. The desire to transfer the emotion of pride and passion into their fans is at the forefront of curating The Black Ice Experience. There is an abundance of value and quality that promotes eagerness within Coach Tev, Blake Cris, and J08s to promote the occasion as an experience and nothing less. In creating an experience, one must tap into the human psyche with intricate details to create the overall aesthetic. In order for it to be considered as an experience, it must leave a lasting impression that eventually compresses into an unforgettable memory. This event exemplifies detailed genius that is a direct correlation to the personality and characteristics of the album and artists alike. The grandeur of an all-black, semi-casual, classy dress code, the pretentious atmosphere embedded in the location of the event, the considerate evening time frame, and complimentary finger foods & drinks are the derivative of the overall aspect of the album. The smooth, suave ambiance of this experience will exude an undeniable atmosphere of cool and maturity that's equivalent to the air of a ballroom party of the upper-class: an urban, contemporary equivalent with a semi-aristocratic glaze.
