Fist of Fury releases “Fire on the Mongrel” from their upcoming LP, New Age of Dread

Just before the crack of dawn on this October Friday, Denton, Tx hardcore band Fist of Fury released their single, Fire on the Mongrel, from their upcoming LP, New Age of Dread.

Although it is known by the vast majority that Texas is known for it’s own distinctive brand of of Jurassic Park size riffs, it’s necessary to continue to stare why that is fact. From the start of the song, the riff that takes place can’t be denied of its heaviness and it’s southern roots.
Following behind the riffage gets a bit thrashy and ends with an signature mosh part.

The special guest feature on this track is none other than Brian Storms from Vulgar Display. His vocals on this track not only brings familiarity to the song but adds more savory Texas flavor.
