Yellow Jones is back in full swing with his latest single, Big Fish

It’s safe to say the talented musician known as Yellow Jones is in full Rockstar mode. His outstanding performance at The Dev and Tev show at The Ruins earlier this summer solidified his return in style. It's a shame if you haven’t witness Yellow live on stage. The vibes that radiates from his aura as he performs is a tad hypnotic, in awe of his confident stage presence. Yellow Jones’ latest release, Big Fish, available on multiple streaming platforms, is the spark that started fire. If my foresight is correct, this is the genesis of Jones’ star power.

Big Fish accommodates the sultry, psychedelic midtones by seducing the track with electric blues, followed by the signature distortion, blended a dash of indie. Yellow Jones doesn’t shy away from the mic, his voice is caressed by the proper amount of reverb to fit the track. The edginess of this track is attractive, the way he strums the minor E, B and G strings features the familiar twang indicates his old school influence that runs through the veins of Big Fish, with a contemporary kick. Perfect for both a dive bar setting and a big arena, Jones seems to be tapping into a version of himself that’s unapologetically cool. Fans of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn would like Big Fish.
