BirdMa$ter & StaleConnor: Sinners Clique

What is admirable about Houston, Texas artist BirdMa$terFlexxx is his taste and talent in genre- bending and his effortless ability to dive head first in the eerie waters. That alone exudes an interesting aura that provokes a bit of curiosity and interest contracted by new listeners. His latest visual with StaleConnor, $inner$ Clique, showcases a darker, sinister aspect in BirdMa$ter in artistry that comes equipped with an historical influence.

BirdMa$ter explains to Bored that the concept of the visual was primarily inspired by Aleister Crowley. For those who aren’t aware, Crowley was an English occultist, poet, author, etc that reached widespread notoriety for being the founder of the Thelema religion and self proclaimed prophet to guide humanity into the Aeon of Horus. According to BirdMa$ter, Crowley performed harmless rituals on women. BirdMa$ter replicated these rituals in reverse; instead of performing rituals on women, the women performed the ritual on him and Connor. BirdMa$ter expresses that as far as the music, it is sonically influenced by Lil Peep and Juicy J; an even combination of sadness and somber, blended with turned up energy that adds polish to the track.
