Ashxs releases a slappin LP that’s essential to your quarantine needs

The seasoning from the Spicy Nacho Doritos covered my fingers as I stuffed more chips into my mouth. I just wanted one more handful before turning my attention towards music. My air pods weren’t fully charged but I had enough power for it to last quite a while. As I was working my thumbs to find Ashxs’ Twitter, I laid back in my yellow, 1972 armchair and continued my search. After a brief moment I was a second away from pressing play and noticed the cover art. It’s a portrait of him smoking a kush blunt with his chin pointing up. Still to this day, I can’t tell you what the word under his neck says. The moment passed and I immediately felt the lyrical assault to my ears drums. From that point on, I knew what I was in for.
The Ash Lp is only available on SoundCloud and it’s roughly 25 mins long. This new body of work is, with no exaggeration needed, filled with relentless bangers that will keep you moving. Ashxs’ mid pitch, deep southern twang with a dash of a California skater vocals continues to bring an interesting style to his tunes. That and his effortless slower Texas flow is what makes it easy to vibe and sing along too. “Scream my name in Gold” features screaming vocals from Ashxs and fellow artist Oni INC. With help from producers @delu_zion_Prod , @Sproutzmusic , @DIELOG_ , @fostepco , @citr3s and @masonflynt , it helped create Ashxs’ overall moody overtone with various thunderous 808 patterns. Some of my favorite tracks are “Ashxs” and the boastful yet cynical “Breathe”. Some of the features on this LP includes fellow artist LVL9 in the vulgar and raunchy track “ BITCH IM OFF THE DRUGS”. In my opinion, the Ash LP is some of his best work he’s created.
