Out of Body ends hiatus with their newly released ep “Son Sun

Well, well, well… look at who crawled out of the cave and blessed our ears with their tunes: Austin, Tx very own post hardcore band Out of Body. Bouncing back from a two year hiatus and another lineup change, the 5 piece band releases the latest ep, “Son Sun” that will be available on all platforms March 15th.

For this who don’t know, Out of Body came out in 2015 with the release of their first ep “Evaporate’. Not long afterwards, they began their tour across the nations and played with bands such as Bane and legendary nyhc band Judge. In 2017, after the release of their first LP “Voiceless”, the band ended up embarking on another tour, including playing a set on the stage of This is Hardcore in Philadelphia. For those who are apart of the Texas hardcore scene, it’s possbile that you are familiar with Out of Body’s vocalist Gjared Robinson/ Balaram Shakti Das. Known for his high level of energy at shows nationwide, Robinson had been part of of the Texas scene for a long time, well over 10 years.

“Son Sun “ is sonically heavier than their previous releases. The ep contains some good old riffage, angst and a bit of edginess that’s reminiscent of 90’s alternative. The lyricism expresses a level of vulnerability I can relate to.Overall, the 3 song ep is a banger!

Currently working on another LP and booking a summer tour, Out of Body is back in the swing of things and is coming to a town or city near you, here are some upcoming dates so far.
